Most Miamians are body conscious; they have to be to create the South Beach parade so there are plenty of places to work out, starting with a session in our well equipped fitness center supervised by a personal trainer.
Alternatively if you are more into the action than the activity you can join in the frenzy of enthusiasm for hugely supported spectator sports. Football’s Miami Dolphins are on show from September through to January or in the basketball season, October to March scream for the home team Miami Heat. For baseball fans, the Florida Marlins play from April to October.

Jogging
A jogging map is provided in all guest rooms. From the front of the hotel there is 1.3 mile outdoor fitness path that circles the island of Brickell Key with waterfront and city views.

Jet-ski Tour
You can be part of a 2 hour, six-island tour with highlights such as a trip through the Port of Miami. Here, riders can bid farewell to the cruise ships. Next, ride through the posh Star Island, South Florida’s celebrity retreat. On your wet and wild journey, visit the monument at Sir Flagler Island and take a spin around Bayside’s Hard Rock Café. Minimum age is 21 years.

Swimming with the dolphins
The Miami Seaquarium Marine Mammal Training Staff has an exciting two hour program that offers an insightful glance at dolphin behavior up close. Uncover interesting facts about these extraordinary animals, then slip into a wetsuit and follow trainers into the water for a one-on-one interaction with a dolphin. Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.
Mountain Biking
Oleta Park is described by many as the Best in South Florida. For every level of rider who wants to experience a 9-mile single track trail that can be achieved in about one and a half hours.
Scooter rental
The wind in your hair, the sun on your shoulders and the freedom to come and go as you please—there’s no better way to see the Beach. Minimum age is 18 years.
Water sports
Set on the coast, surrounded by water, Miami offers plenty of water sports. While it is not renowned for its dive sites, snorkeling or scuba diving are all possible; being above the water on a sail boat is quite a breeze and an elegant way to survey the city; for a sport with more purpose deep sea fishing can easily be arranged. Deep Sea Fishing
From the exciting Bayside Marketplace and Marina, you can fish the Waters of Key Biscayne for Sailfish, Dolphin, Marlin, Shark, Tuna and other species. Tours of four, six and eight hours are available.
Scuba Diving
For decades, Miami has offered scuba divers and fishermen some of the best waters off the coast of Florida. Artificial reef construction and natural rocks and coral reefs off Miami Beach have offered divers a myriad of diving levels. Miami also boasts some of the most established dive shops, scuba charters and dive instructors.
Canoeing
Canoe trails in Miami provide the outdoor-lover with another kind of water sport. Canoeing on Florida’s rivers and creeks is an ideal way to experience the state’s natural beauty.
