There are endless ways to keep fit along the Riviera Maya and they are more pleasure than strain. From jogging along the dusty sand, swimming over the miraculously colorful reef or the unusual experience of whizzing through the jungle canopy on a high wire. Our concierge has prepared details as follows, but do ask for more information if required.
Swimming
We have three beautifully landscaped pools:
Main Pool at the Beach Club – 100 square meters (over 1000 sq ft)
Lap Pool at Beach Club - 59 square meters (about 600 sq ft)
Spa Pool – 39 square meters (about 400 sq ft)
We offer regular aqua aerobics classes for non-impact exercise; an ideal exercise in the tropical heat.
Jogging
The resort has nearly two miles of footpaths meandering by jungle, mangroves, across waterways and past the sea shore. Alternatively there’s endless lengths of soft sand starting from our own beach.
Water sports
Our water sports center on the beach will be happy to make arrangements for you on any of the following activities.
Snorkeling
Snorkel over the second largest barrier reef in the world for a marvelous multicolored view. We have first class equipment for hire and offer both private and shared trips to the reef, ten minutes off shore by boat.
Kayaking
Take a sea kayak from our beach up and down the blue coast.
Scuba Diving
Enjoy amazing Caribbean underwater views and see for yourself why Riviera Maya is rated one of the best places in the world to practice scuba diving.
Deep Sea Fishing
If you are a fishing enthusiast the Yucatan Channel is a great place to practice your favorite sport. Go in search of Marlin, Barracuda, Kingfish and Sailfish. We operate an ecological fishing policy, whereby any fish caught not destined for the table will be returned to the sea.
Half-day and full-day tours are available.
Catamaran Sailing
Scud along the blue azure in a catamaran. Our concierge will be happy to make arrangements and you can be collected from our private pier.
Horseback Riding
Take a trail ride through Mexican jungle or along the Caribbean coastline. The tour organizers will collect you from the hotel and our concierge will make all arrangements.
